 Intertidal Bioblitz (Afternoon)  8/18/2008

We are looking for volunteers to join us on Monday, August 18 as we explore intertidal diversity at the Boston Harbor Islands national park area. Our goal is to compare species diversity in different intertidal habitats including permanent rocky outcrops, cobble beaches, salt marshes, and mudflats on several of the islands. Scientists will explore the islands during the morning low-tide, and the public is invited to join us as we explore Thompson and Lovells islands in the afternoon/early evening. The program is geared to junior high school age and above, but there will be activities for all ages. Follow the register now link for more details and to reserve your space.
