Step back in time and interact with the reenactors of Massachusetts’ first regiment of African American soldiers in the Civil War. The MA 54th Regiment was memorialized in the film “Glory” and in 2013 it was the 150th anniversary of the Regiment’s muster into the Civil War. Now, 151 years later, join the reenactors of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry and they will show you more of the life in 1863 Civil War Boston and its historic infantry regiment.
